Bridging to/from PulseChain
As of yet, PulseChain is a little harder to reach than most blockchains. To our knowledge, there isn't yet a centralized exchange (CEX) that lists Pulse. If you know one, let us know, so that we can add it here.
Links on PulseChain.com
Any of the links on https://pulsechain.com/ can be trusted, so feel free to use those. As this is a beginner's guide though, we've outlined a few of the simpler ones with some explanation.
Liberty Swap
https://libertyswap.finance/ Liberty Swap takes USDC from Ethereum, Base, BSC, or Arbitrum, and USDT from BSC, and it allows you to directly buy a variety of Assets on PulseChain with it. The three tokens that BetterBank launches with as listed tokens (Pulse, pDai, and PulseX) can each be selected here. Just always make sure that you have (or buy) at least some Pulse for gas.
When bridging back, it only takes USDC from Pulse and bridges it only to Base or BSC, so make sure that you have gas there before bridging back.
PulseChain Bridge
https://bridge.pulsechain.com/ Be careful when using search results. Make sure that you have the right address. When coming to this page, click the picture to launch the app.
This bridge is very straightforward, cheap, and secure, but it only bridges between Ethereum and PulseChain and isn't very fast, so expect your assets to be "underway" for about half an hour. A nice extra from PulseChain Bridge is that regardless of what asset that you send to PulseChain, you may get some Pulse for free, so that you're not without gas. But that free Pulse runs out. It's advisably to then trade (see next page) for some more Pulse so that you'll have some more gas.
Whatever asset you send, you get the same asset on PulseChain as "bridged from Ethereum". So if you send USDT from Ethereum, you get "USDT from Ethereum" on PulseChain. It's advisable to check if your chosen asset has sufficient liquidity on PulseChain (two pages ahead), but staples like USDT or USDC should not be an issue.
A final note of interest is that the admin control that for example Circle and Tether have over their USDC and USDT ends with that bridge. The token that gets minted on PulseChain is controlled by the PulseChain bridge, and not Circle or Tether.
Change Now
The site https://changenow.io/ doesn't provide the cheapest transactions, nor is it the best place for the bridging of larger amounts. The main reason that we mention it though is that it is very versatile. Aside from allowing buys with fiat, it integrates just about every blockchain. Using this site, bridging to and from PulseChain means bridging to and from the Pulse token. It hasn't integrated any other tokens on PulseChain.
